Located in the township of Charly-sur-Marne, the vine yard has a south-west exposure with a moderately steep slope of 19 percent and is situated at an elevation of 117 meters/384 feet above sea level. Les Hautes Blanches Vignes means “The White Vines from Above” in English.

Christophe Baron comes from a long line of Champagne vignerons, with a history that dates back as far as 1677. His expertise was honed through training in Avize (Champagne) and Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy, where he learned the true meaning and importance of the word “terroir.”

Assisting him in this venture are his three cousins, Claire, Lise and Aline of Champagne Baron Albert, and his sister, Isabelle Baron.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the inheritance of these priceless vineyards from Christophe’s parents, Odette and Gilbert Baron.
