43 months in a mix of French and American oak barrels has aged this wine to perfection. Expressive notes of bright cherry and black currant on entry are complimented by a smooth yet ample structure while classic French oak flavors of tobacco leaf, anis and clove linger delicately on the finish.

Crafted in homage to the timeless elegance of Bordeaux, the 2021 Reverence is a classically structured blend that reflects both the varietal expression and the depth of this vintage. Cabernet Sauvignon provides the backbone and framework with notes of black currant and espresso with chalky, powdery tannins, while Merlot offers a plush middle, cranberry, and warm clove. Malbec lifts the blend with bright fruit, juniper berry, and vibrant acidity, and Petit Verdot adds color, spice, and a hint of anise. The result is a balanced, expressive wine with a long, elegant finish.
BARREL PROGRAM
Aged for 30 months in a both new French oak and neutral American oak

- Winery Description
The Bogle family has been farming in the Sacramento River Delta for six generations. The first 20 acres of vines were planted in 1968 near the small farming community of Clarksburg. Today Bogle Vineyards farms over 1,500 acres of wine grapes in the Clarksburg AVA and other select California winegrowing regions including Old Vine Zinfandel from Lodi and Amador and Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from the cool Monterey and Russian River Valley AVA’s. The Bogle family’s deep respect for the land and generational commitment to putting consistent, honest value in every bottle is rooted in one over-arching philosophy: the family is involved in every detail of the business. And they are some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet!
