Tasting notes

Fermenting in 100% stainless steel tanks has preserved the concentrated nature of this Viognier. Opening with enticing aromas of Asian pear and bright citrus, this wine is accented by delicate floral undertones. Medium-bodied and lively, it reveals notes of succulent mango and vibrant quince, intricately woven together, further enhanced by the silky texture reminiscent of ripe banana. Citrus blossoms lend a punch of tartness, while a refreshing Meyer lemon zing enlivens the palate. Despite its radiant brightness, this wine's viscosity leaves a lasting, memorable impression.

Winery Description

The Bogle family has been farming in the Sacramento River Delta for six generations. The first 20 acres of vines were planted in 1968 near the small farming community of Clarksburg. Today Bogle Vineyards farms over 1,500 acres of wine grapes in the Clarksburg AVA and other select California winegrowing regions including Old Vine Zinfandel from Lodi and Amador and Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from the cool Monterey and Russian River Valley AVA’s. The Bogle family’s deep respect for the land and generational commitment to putting consistent, honest value in every bottle is rooted in one over-arching philosophy: the family is involved in every detail of the business. And they are some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet!
